Thread: Where is Deandre Liggins?

Where is this wildcat? I thought that he was going to play tonight yet he isn't even on the sideline.

Oddly, I type this as Patterson just hits his 2nd 3-pointer of the year.

Liggins has been spotted on the sideline in the snazzy Wildcat warm-up gear. One can only assume that the coaching staff doesn't like what they see from him...

It seems that this is still a mystery. There's a lot of talk on the internet about DeAndre Liggins: where is he? what happened to him? why doesn't coach cal play him? Coach John Calipari is usually very vocal and don't hold much back but in the case of "What's up with DeAndre Liggins" mums the word. It makes the whole scenario even that much more mysterious. Is it academic? Is it due to poor work ethics? Just overall bad play in practice (hard to believe)? Did DeAndre tell Coach Calipari that he smells bad? Really, is there a personality conflict between Coach and Liggins? The saga continues...

And another game goes by with Liggins playing. Kentucky is 7-0 and Liggins in 0-7.

Well he's back and has played in 3 games this year now. He has a total of about 14 minutes. 1 minute in 1 game, 12 in the Austin Peay game and a minute on the floor so far tonight. Welcome back Liggins!

Not only are is DeAndre getting some playing time, he even got a highlight mention from Coach Cal during the halftime interview! Coach Cal said the Drexel can't get into their offense because of the intensity of the play from Liggins and Bledsoe. DeAndre...YOUR THE MAN!
