Yeah I'm still curious to why we didn't win a championship this year either but we had 3 bad games all year and the game against WV was one of them. I would pick UK to win if it was the best of 4 like the NBA but its not. The way they dominated Wake Forest (who alot of fans that hate UK said that would be a close game) showed me they were "capable" of beating anyone. That was the most exciting UK squad to watch since the 98 team.
What will have to happen is we need our returning players to step up, our newbies to learn the system asap and everyone be on the same page and well.... dominateI would like to see a championship the next 2 years but if there is a NBA lockout I almost guarantee '11 - '12 will be there year if we can get those recruits to come. But if we have all that talent stocked up alot of those kids might not want to share the spot light and we probably wont be able to get Bello, Quincy or many of the other unsigned recruits to commit. I'm looking forward to watching how its going to pan out.

hey unregistered why dont you you get a username and and not hide behind not bein able to contact you? delvolio was completely right in his comment and you know it. why dont you go back to your pathetic looserville, over rated NC, or the school that everybody hates (duke aka Puke) fan page.
Kentucky didnt win this year because we had a bad game, if not we would have gotten past W.V. and easily beat duke in the final four to take on butler in the championship game
Luck is deffinatly a huge part of hanging a banner. Case in point who won last year, omg yuck. I thought the last No.1 seed was to play the best 16 seed, not play the winner of the play in game. I thought that was reserved for the best No.1 seed. Plus in my opinion they had the easiest road of all the 1 seeds, with my blue tinted glasses not included. I think KU got the shaft more than any 1 seed. So luck is a huge part of it.

Other then coaching, good players and luck a team that wins a championship needs to have strength. It's hard to win 5 games in a row especially win 3 of those 5 teams are most likely nationally ranked. Which is what Kentucky last year didn't have in the tournament.
