Thread: The Wait For #8?

As much as I hope and would love to win #8 this year. I think we will go a couple rounds in the tournament but I dont think we can pull it out. I think it will be next yr, we have the Fantastic Four coming in and we wont loose near the amount of players we lost last yr!

I had hope for this year with Kanter. I thought he could really make us Title Contenders. And I think there is still hope. Not that Kanter would play, but just that Kanter can practice. I think he can make Vargas and Harrelson really step up. Of course I don't think they could fill the void of Kanter, but if we can get our team hitting on all cylinders and everyone knows the role they have to play to win without Kanter, I think our team is so guard-heavy that we have a great chance of going deep in the tourney. We have some great kids with heart.

But, as far as Championship expectations, I'm reserving mine for next year. I think we'll return some really good players and have such a talent influx that it's going to be hard for anyone to argue against UK being the favorite to take home #8.

I didn't see a choice for last season. WVU with a PG with a bumb shoulder beat us. Should have pounded it down to Patterson all nite, with the lack of shooting that nite. I mean Bitter Beer Face Billy beat them the year before. Last season should have been ours. I hope we can do it this year, but no force down low is going to hurt us.

I agree, that game was a fluke. We basically handed Duke the title on a silver platter. I was hoping Butler would beat Duke and then Hayward's half court shot barely rimmed out and I wasn't too happy about that.

no denying that next years cats are gonna be great but the season just started this year an the boys are looking great........ i think #8 is well under way

well ther still plenty of time to vote. We got only two votes this season and we were only two wins away. We got 14 votes (the most) so far for next season so i guess that is a good sign we will win it all next season. I just hope our boys don't get too cocky as you must be humble to be great.
