I have a feeling Lamb will end up there by the end of the year, or at least second team.

    Here is the press release:

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The honors are beginning to roll in for the 2012 UK men’s basketball team as Terrence Jones and Doron Lamb were named to Dick Vitale’s All-Solid Gold teams.
Jones was selected to the first team by Vitale. He was named the 2011 Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Year by the league coaches and SEC Newcomer of the Year by the Associated Press. He averaged 15.7 points, while pulling down 8.8 rebounds per game, ranking seventh and first in the SEC respectively.
Jones set the UK freshman single-game scoring record with 35 points against Auburn. He also posted 13 double-doubles, second most among UK freshmen all-time and his eight 20-point games was fourth most by a freshman in program history.
Lamb was a fifth-team selection by Vitale.
The 6-foot-4 guard from Queens, N.Y., was named to the 2011 Southeastern Conference All-Freshman Team by the league coaches and was also named Yahoo! Sports’ National Sixth Man of the Year. He averaged 12.3 points while shooting an SEC-leading 48.6 percent from 3-point range.
He was named ESPN.com National Player of the Week, USBWA National Player of the Week, Dick Vitale’s Diaper Dandy of the Week and SEC Player of the Week after scoring a then-freshman record 32 points vs. Winthrop on 11-of-12 shooting, including 7-of-8 from 3-point range.

true, but their other darling is in there that is just up the road from Duke and they are #3 on the all-time wins list.

And wondering why Barnes pic is higher than everybodys in the first team?

I don't think he is that special.

    Go Cats!

I've already seen tweets proclaiming Austin Rivers will be on that list at the end of the season.
