John Calipari knows Tennessee's newest player Jarnell Stokes very well as he spoke about recruiting him today in his routine pregame press conference today.
“He’s good, we recruited him. He’s physical with a nice bounce and a great skill level. He’s competitive and a really good player.”
It sounds like Stokes could be making his debut vs. the Cats on Saturday.

Martin was coy Friday as to whether he would unveil his prized mid-term enrollee today against No. 2 Kentucky in an ESPN telecast.
Fifty-fifty, he said.
The bet here, barring unexpected circumstances, is 100 percent.
Stokes is just winding up his first week on campus. He's practiced a couple of days. He dressed for the Mississippi State game Thursday night but did not play.
"I definitely think I'm ready," Stokes said. "You're asking a 17-year-old kid who hasn't played in several months if he's ready?
"I would definitely say I'm ready."

Look for Kentucky to go right after Stokes when he is in the game and exploit his lack of game experience.
