Considering Nazr weighed nearly 350 pounds or more and shed like an entire person I think he deserves my vote. He showed the will to succeed when all of the odds were against him. He had a very solid career at UK and has gone on to be a consistent player in the NBA. He might not be the most glamorous of all the rest of the options but I think he probably worked harder than anyone else and the return for him was unmatched.

This is a tough decision but Demarcus Cousins was just so much fun to watch. He was an amazing talent for the short time he was here. I believe he will be a dominant Pro for years to come as long is continues to mentally mature.

I think Cousins could be great if he can get over that hump and learn to be a more mature team player.

I loved the way big cuz played.
It's a fact. Without Patterson, Cousins would've stayed an immature little brat and would've been thrown out of 3 or 4 games. Maybe Patterson didn't help his abilities, but when it comes to maturing and becoming a better all around player, Patterson made all the difference.

I have only been watching UK basketball since the 98-99 season because I was too active as a kid to sit down and watch T.V. But When it comes to Cousins, I feel that he just used us as a way to get the big bucks. He left after one season, never showed any type of emotion unless we were winning, or he was playing good. I remember games last year where he had a sub-par performance, and he was pouting. That is not a favorite. Patterson was great, but still isn't a center. My personal favorite wasn't on here....Erik Daniels. He was a beast inside. Always grabbing the boards. But that's just me. My favorite on the list provided is Nazr.

I agree with you about Cousins. The people that voted for Cousins obviously hasnt watched UK for the whole 20 years. There were lots of great big men in that time and plenty before 98 that you missed seeing Steve as well. Cousins was super talented but he was just a little boy in a grown man-beast body, but i wouldn't be stupid enough to say it to his face, LOL.
