really guys how can you vote for cousins over patterson? cousins was a one and done and was only one of the best centers this year becuase its a weak year for centers in the ncaa. patterson stayed 3 years and was considered one of the best centers in the game all 3 years. he choose to come to kentucky after being recruited by tubby even after he left. he served 2 years under coach g and if it wasnt for patterson those 2 years kentucky would have not even made the nit.

On the poll about guards, John Wall had the most votes. On this, DeMarcus Cousins is in the lead. SO MANY BANDWAGONERS.

    Travis,

I'm with you on that one. I guess people are voting based on success and not commitment? Tough choice in this position...

I voted for Cousins because he was a better CENTER. Patterson was a better POWER FORWARD. I also voted for Wayne Turner in the POINT GUARD position.

Wall and Cousins gave UK one of the best record ever with a SEC Championship. They are the best of their positions at UK in the last 20 years. The NBA draft will prove that. Patterson is not a center. Rodney Dent is one of my favorite Cats of all time!!! Their is some true knowledge for ya...

Patterson is most certainly a better Forward, but played the Center role quite well. His commitment to UK and the fact that he was a model player makes it a tough decision between Cousins and Patterson.

Nazr is my favorite, because i believe he worked the hardest to get out on the floor, and work the hardest to stay on the floor, came to us way way wayyyyyyyy overweight, and left as a stud, with a NCAA Championship, and here we are 15yrs later, and he's still in the league, playing playoff basketball for the Charlotte "Michael Jordan" Bobcats!!

Come on Patterson is one of my all time favorites, but he was a power forward and not a center. I voted for Mohamed because he made the most progress out of all of the rest and became the focal offense of UK. Did I mention he was lethal at the free throw line?

I picked Demarcus Cousins but it is a close race between Cousins and Patterson. Although I can recall games when the otheers did some great things, however for consistency Cousins and Patrick are heads above the others.

I wanted to pick Turpin but realized that was too far back!!! If he would stay a few more years it would be Cousins but since he was a 1 and done you have to go with either Mohammed, Magloire or Patterson. Patterson is really a power forward, just goes to show how tough he is and how hard he really worked while he was here.

Patrick Patterson....Patrick paid his dues.....under a lot of different styles of play...he adapted better than any player that has ever come out of UK....To vote for Cousins over him is crazy....Demarcus is a great player...but if it was not for Patrick I do not believe he would of been all that....

I’m not trying to start anything but to think that Boogie was a good center b/c of patterson seems out there to me.
