Thread: Kentucky vs. West Virginia in Elite Eight 3-27-2010

Kentucky will play West Virginia in the Elite Eight on 3-27-2010. Place your vote on the outcome of the game.

Kentucky didn't shoot well against Cornell, but I expect that to change against West Virginia. With WV losing their point guard for the year, I see both John, Eric, and Daniel having a much better shooting game. GO CATS!!!

It's going to be a good game but if UK can go in there with a winning attitude and play tough like we know they can they will win this one too! I bleed blue, let's go Cats!!

Kentucky should win by 8, West Virginia is a great team, this will be a huge test for the cats but i could not put my faith in any Big East team to win any game. I am wondering what morons out their still cling to the theory that the Big East is the toughest conference in basketball. They flopped every time out this entire year, sure one of them was ranked in the top 5 the seconcond half of the year, even #1(syracuse) for a short time. But they lost a lot of out-of-conference games that highschool teams could have won.

WVU has a good chance of winning. UK is very good but if they play hard and listen to Coack Huggins they will win. Go Mountaineers!

the use of a comma in that statement or using WVU in there would've made it easier to understand. The user was trying to say that UK is good but if WVU listens to Coach Huggins they could win. I think WVU has a good shot at winning this game...UK is on a winning streak but WVU will give them a run for their money. Go Mountaineers! All the way!

The poll results are embarrassingly absurd. WVU will give all UK could ever want. I won't pretend to know how the game will turn out, but if you think the Wildcats are going to run the floor on Dub-V at will, you're living on another planet.
It's going to be a physical game. I hope the refs lay off the foul calls and let the big guys bang around down low. I think if that happens, WVU wins.

Most chose winning by 6-10 points, so i don't get how you perceived that as running the floor. What planet are you on 6 points is a close game.

I think Ky wins by more than 10 points, WV has lost their starting PG and i think i heard espn say that their other PG was hurt, but still played against Washington.
So i believe that adds upto a Ky win of 10 or more

I really Hope that just cause their pg is out the Big Blue don't take them for lightly... I know we have the talent and the heart. as long as we play the D like last night We will win ....GO BIG BLUE

WVU turned the ball over 23 times against Washington, if they do that against UK, it will not even be close. I think UK wins by 8. Go Cats
