In a battle of two former Calipari-coached Kentucky point guards, John Wall came out on top over rookie Brandon Knight.

Wall's Wizards (6-22) beat Knight's Pistons (8-21) 98-77.

Wall started slowly, but had an excellent second half. He finished with 9 points (3-10 shooting), 15 assists, 5 rebounds, 2 steals, 2 blocked shots and 7 turnovers in 39 minutes.

Knight struggled all game-long, finishing with 2 points (1-8 shooting), 2 assists, 1 rebound, 1 steal and 3 turnovers in 30 minutes.
