I think if you're raised in Eastern Kentucky it's hard not to be a UK fan. My oldest brother, who was raised in Ohio with his mom, was raised a Buckeye. He attended high school here for just two years and is now a Wildcat for life.

I was lucky enough to attend the 1958 National Championship in Louisville. After the Cats won I went down and collected autographs outside the locker room. I was hooked from that moment on.

The odd thing is that my family was all U of L graduates. And as a teenager I worked lot's of Cardinal games for a security service. Saw some great games but remained loyal to the Cats.
