Dick Vitale was not impressed with Terrence Jones' effort vs. Indiana Saturday and goes as far to say it was embarrassing.

"He looked like he was pouting," ESPN analyst Dick Vitale, who covered the game, told the Lexington Herald-Leader. "He looked like something was bothering him. He looked totally not into the game.

"I've been doing games for 33 years. I can't ever remember a great player in a game where I ever had to talk about (not) playing hard. I've had guys have bad games.

Obviously, that happens to everybody. I was trying to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Maybe he's sick. It was really embarrassing, to be honest with you.

"I can understand kids having a bad game. Not scoring. Maybe forcing turnovers. I cannot understand not playing aggressively, and he didn't play aggressively in a very emotional (game)."

I have to agree with Vitale. I don't always like his analysis because he is so biased toward Duke, but he is dead on! I've been a UK fan since I watched the 1978 championship on delay telecast and there is no reason for a player to pout and not play hard. Playing hard doesn't require any talent at all, just HEART! Come on Terrence!!!!!!!!!

I really liked Jones and I am disapointed in his effort.I don't know what his problem is maybe he feels overshadowed by all the great players. He needs to change his attitude or sit on the bench.I also hae notice a lot of posng early in the season against inferior teams.Terrance play ball and let your game speak for it self. You need to know you are 1 of many great players who have came and gone. You are not great yet but could be if you change your attitude

We need to stop hatin on Terrence people I mean enough is enough, he passed up a lot of money to help us go for a championship, he's played great this year easily one of the best players on the team. So he made a mistake Saturday, GET OVER IT! There's nothing we can do about the Indiana game we have one of if not the best teams in the country with a chance to win it all. If it keeps happening then I understand being disappointed in him but its one freaking game people give him a break he's one of OUR players for cryin out loud.

Everybody needs to leave my man T.Jones alone. He will bounce back, bet he makes everyones jaw drop this next game. We need to be there for our team BBN not throw them to the curb after one bad performance. If we dont back TJ up why should he back us up. That loss hurt him more than it did us folks. We needed this loss anyway did i want it no, but now our guys have felt loss and we all know it blows. Its going to be great to watch them play with anger and alot of emotion and with nothing to lose.
