Thread: Davis and MKG Stay at 1 and 3 in CBS Frosh of the Year List

Anthony Davis and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist hold steady in CBS' weekly Freshman of the Year list. Davis at #1 and K-G at #3. Here's the dish on each:

1. Anthony Davis, Kentucky (Last Week: 1): 11.6 ppg, 10.2 rpg, 4.5 bpg, 62.6 FG%
Davis’ scoring has dipped the last few games, but he’s picked up it on the defensive end. Davis is averaging 12.8 boards and 4.8 blocks his last four.

3. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Kentucky (Last Week: 3): 13.5 ppg, 6.8 rpg, 54.1 FG%
He’s missed a grand total of two shots in the last two games, averaging 16.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists during that span.

These guys should be #1 and #1b in my opinion, but I have been accused of being biased in the past.

UPDATE: Mysteriously, since I posted this, Gillie has moved up to #2 on the CBS list. Did they read my post and take heed? I doubt it, but I'll take it!
