Thread: SEC Expansion?

This is the what the SEC has now. My dream scenario includes the SEC adding Memphis, Texas, Louisville and Oklahoma. Wow! Anyone else have a suggestion. If we get two of those I think we have accomplished a lot. I hope that we don't let the PAC 10 corner the market.

With Texas announcing they are staying put, I don't think we'll see any additions to the SEC.

I think it's only a matter of time until Texas A&M comes to the SEC. No way in heck Louisville or Texas comes, but there will be another school coming with A&M. Missouri? Oklahoma State? It's anybody's guess, but the Big 12 will implode sooner or later. Rumors also have Florida State and/or Clemson from the ACC as well.

Texas A&M has evidently officially notified the Big 12 that they are looking elsewhere, and has requested "procedure" for how to leave the Big 12. This straight from Texas A&M president R. Bowen Loftin

MrSEC sources are reporting Texas A&M to the SEC in 2012, and Missouri and Virginia Tech may be in the conversation after that.
