Yahoo! Sports says Allen can’t seem to stop tripping opposing players:
Allen also was involved in a mini-skirmish in Duke’s second meeting with Louisville last Saturday afternoon. He exchanged blows with Jaylen Johnson in a scrum for a loose ball, caught an elbow in the face and came away with a bloody lip in the process.
There are a few clues to Allen’s intent in the sequence leading up to Thursday trip.
In the preceding possession, Allen poked the ball away from Rathan-Mayes, securing possesion for Duke and seemingly putting the Blue Devils into position to run out the clock. Rathan-Mayes then casually bumps Allen before turning to run up floor when a teammate steals the ball and tumbling to the ground after stumbling over the Duke guard’s outstretched leg.
