DeAndre Liggins has Big Night in Thunder Win

deandre liggins

DeAndre Liggins played 40 minutes, scored 11 points, grabbed 11 rebounds in last night’s 87-83 win at Portland.

This was Liggins first start for the Oklahoma City Thunder and is really amazing how many times he has been to the D-League and used it to make his way into the starting lineup.

Just an example of how much DeAndre works on his game was hitting all 3 of his 3 point attempts.

Deandre Liggins 40 minutes was the most played by any player in the game.

This kid just works and works and works. Great job.

DeAndre does not have a ton of natural ability, relative to other UK players in the league, yet he is having success purely due to putting in the work in the gym and playing great defense. I’m glad to see he is finally starting to get some time. He certainly deserves it.
