Day 3: Phillip Fulmer, Brent Pease have not been Contacted Yet by Kentucky

We are only 3 days into the Kentucky coaching search and current and former coaches are coming out of the woodwork to deny any contact with Kentucky officials about the opening of head football coach.

Which means they want to be contacted.

Florida offensive coordinator Brent Pease, who spoke so highly of Kentucky earlier in the season, says he hasn’t been contacted and is focused on his team.

“First off, that situation is out of the question right now because I haven’t heard anything,” he said. “I wouldn’t do that. I’m focused on here. I’ve only been here one year. I’ve made a commitment to be here, especially with my family.

“Ask me that question later when something happens, I guess. I can’t comment on a ghost story right now.”

Former Tennessee head coach Phillip Fulmer is also on full denial, saying no one has contacted him yet, but how interesting is it that he ends up on television when the job comes open.
