The Microscope played havoc with John Wall this week. It is focused on the favorite for National Player of the Year. If you think the microscope will stop zooming in on John Wall as the season winds down and March looms closer and closer then you are crazy. John Wall got a wake up call this week, and he needs to realize that anything he says will be critiqued and dissected until a story can be made out of it. The Worldwide Leader, or should we say "Big Brother," is looking for anything they can get their hands on to talk about the 21-1 Cats. As we all know, it isn't always of the positive variety.

I have watched the John Wall interview just like you have, and I think you will hear more of the same from every player. "Coach Cal knows what he is doing and I love him." It might not be an exact quote, but you get what I am talking about. Calipari has been there before. He knows what Wall did after the Vanderbilt game can't happen again. They are lined up after the game to get a interview and showing frustration to a reporter is like yelling "Come Get Me!" I would say the talk Coach Cal had with John Wall will be very effective in the future, and for the entire Wildcat team. Sounds like John Wall learned a very valuable lesson. If you got a problem, don't talk to Alan Cutler about it. Talk to the guy that can fix it and won't make it worse.
