• Attachment 1660Over the next few weeks we should be hearing more and more about the new class at UK. The NBA season is over, the draft is just days away and all attention should then turn to college football and basketball. The exhibition games Kentucky has scheduled in Canada are less than 60 days away now. Things should start picking up soon.

Coach Cal is getting excited too. Here are some comments he had on Kanter and Knight last week. Not only is he excited about their

He is still feeling his way around Lexington. He has just turned 18 only a month ago. You are talking about a really young player. Just because he is 6-11, 260 does not mean he is a grown man. He was 17 years old when he came to Lexington. But I think he will be good on and off the court for us. I am really excited about having him.

    Hat tip to Larry Vaught.

Two very fine young men that should represent Kentucky well, both on and off the court. I am excited about this year as we seek title #8 and beyond. THANK YOU Coach Calipari for doing your job well and ensuring that BIG BLUE has the weapons to get the job done.
