Bob Huggins Watches Cordia’s Emmanuel Owootoah
Cordia’s Emmanuel Owootoah didn’t have the best game of his career last night, but his team did advance to the 53rd district finals with a 73-43 win over Letcher Central.

Owootoah finished with 10 points, 8 assists, and 5 steals in 32 minutes with West Virginia head coach Bob Huggins and Villanova assistant coach Raphael Chillious sitting on the baseline in folding chairs taking in the action.
Huggins was in Jackson earlier in the day to watch 22ft Academy shooting guard Petar Rusic workout. WVU also had an assistant watch Rusic earlier in the season.
Kentucky will reportedly make a second trip Friday night to watch the 5’9″ Canadian point guard in the district championship game, which looks like it could be a matchup with Knott County Central and their star sophomore guard Camron Justice. Justice already has an offer from Tennessee. Knott Central beat Cordia in the 14th region All A Classic semifinal earlier this season.
