Yesterday I had the luxury of attending the UK women's clinic and I can't wait to tell you all about it, make sure and check out my post tomorrow evening! So many things to write, not enough space! All I can say, you are going to love this team!
I was so excited when Dan Johnson hit the homerun to tie the Yankees in the 9th inning that I didn't realize a fan paid the price for it. Click to watch on Youtube
If you remember Lil' Penny, you will really get a laugh out of Lil' Blake..very funny stuff. This is some very funny stuff..had to post it. Lil' Blake from Blake Griffin
I've always had a strong dislike for the Gators, mostly because I know a few Florida fans that think their poo doesn't stink. See, it all started when Florida was good at basketball for two years, then Gator fans started thinking they were a basketball school and had complete domination over Kentucky. Delusional. Therefore, from the obnoxiousness of those few fans that I know, I began to pull against Florida in every game, regardless of who they were playing. Unfortunately, I'm not getting a strong sense that the 24 game win streak Florida football has over Kentucky is going to end, in fact I'm just going into the game hoping the Cats don't look dreadful. The rain might give the Cats a chance to keep it close...r. I love my Cats and I'll be there tailgating all day, but I gotta say Florida 38 - Kentucky 14....Ouch! Prove me wrong boys, I'll be cheering you on either way! Go Cats!
So yesterday I spent about 6 hours tailgating with the now infamous whistle guy. I don't know this guy personally, he was a friend of a friend at the tailgate. What I can tell you is that him, and his buddy instantly seemed like they'd be on the wild side, and at least some good entertainment. Whistle guy did actually bust out the whistle during the tailgate on several occasions just goofing around. I remember specifically knocking the whistle out of his mouth at one point because it was driving me crazy! Needless to say, him and his buddies headed to the game and I thought it would be the last I ever saw of him and his whistle. My how I was wrong. The first time I heard the whistle during the game was about two plays before they actually caught him. Kentucky was on defense and as the whistle sounded, I could see the players actually ease up...this in turned led Louisville to a gain in yardage. Two plays later he blew the whistle again, this time the officials stopped play and we all saw the picture above, whistle guy getting led out of the game. Apparently, via whistle guy's facebook page, him and his buddy actually went to jail for this action. When I saw im being led out several sections away from me, I couldn't help but laugh. I could see the big antlers on his shirt as he was lead out and I knew it was him. (he was very proud of his shirt, talked about it a lot during the tailgate). This is all useless info, but thought I would share my story. I was not a fan of whistle guy, I think it is very dangerous for the players to hear a fake whistle, and it obviously was not giving Kentucky an advantage.
