Louisville Basketball Rolls over the Hogs!

For a season opener against an opponent from a respectable conference it wasn't a bad showing for this bunch of Cardinals. I was impressed with the ball movement and outside shooting. The defensive pressure and fast breaking is pure Pitino. In your face, 94 feet most of the game in both directions.
I was not impressed however with young Mr. Siva. Not yet (although the up and under move was pretty sweet!). The kid appears to have all the tools to become great if he listens to what Pitino tells him. Delk's long range shooting was impressive but he won't go 8-9 every night. The 3 guard line up will be formidable until Louisville plays a bigger team. Sarmado quietly went for 17. Did he get the ball on the post enough?
Hey, it's a "W" and great way to get started. Having 3 homers in a row against lesser competion will get the young guys the opportunity to continue to learn and the vets get in better game shape.
Looking forward to another exciting year of Cardinal basketball.
