I have read alot of stories about John Wall, but this one is by far the best. It really tells the story of the trials and tribulations he went through as a kid. And of course we all know how the story of him coming to UK and what he done here, and as the NBA draft draws closer, reading this about him in the Washington Post gives me a new out look on John Wall, and I love him more now than ever. John Calipari addressed Kentucky fans Tuesday on his website, asking them to pray for his mother, Donna, who is battling cancer. Here is what Coach Cal said on his website: "I always try and am as transparent and forthcoming as possible with the Big Blue Nation and this is no exception. My mom, Donna Calipari, is battling cancer and I'm going to spend some time these next few days trying to figure out the best course of action for her medical care. At some point here in the near future, I will tell you all about my mom. For now, please know this is the woman who gave me my drive and my mindset to dream big dreams. She is a fighter and an incredibly strong woman." As a true blue Kentucky Fan I sent out prayer requests for his mom Donna on my Facebook page, and I wish the Calipari Family the very best. If you find time to say a little prayer for her and the family please do. At Kentucky we are built on tradition, and values, and family, we win together and we lose together, and we support each other in times like this.
