Anything and everything blog.
Here is an oldie but a goodie... This is by far the worst sports news cast ever. At a university news station, Brian was filling in last second when he fails to realize his notes are screwed up and then his teleprompter fails. After watching this, it's hard to believe he's a successful newscaster in Texas, but I guess it's just proof that everyone has a bad day. It's just that most are not even close to being this bad. One of the best parts is how he just says "yeah" when the anchor thanks him for his look into sports.
When Indiana Coach Mike Davis lost it, so did any hopes of an Indiana win. Probably one of the greatest coaching mistakes of all time. This video has a little Chicken Dance music as a bonus.
For many of us, this was the beginning of the end for Billy Clyde. Kentucky fans have never seen a coach disrespect a journalist on national tv. It's obviouse, he just wasn't a great fit.
This was just nuts! I remember watching this thinking there's no way he's going to shoot it again...and then he did. The Tayshaun give us the "I don't know" shoulder shrug, alla Michael Jordan in the NBA finals. This video is long but worth it. Jus thang in there through the opening segment. The quality of the footage of the actual game is why I chose this particular video.
Every Sunday is a ritual for most of us. Mine started as a little boy in Eastern Kentucky and I still go through the same routine today. It starts with Sunday School/Church, Sunday dinner with the family and then the featured NFL game/games of the day. But before the football games, there was the UK basketball and football coaches show. It's always been one of the most boring shows on TV and I'm still not sure why we watched. I mean, this show was so bad, not even Coach Cal could turn it around....right? The days of watching our Coach sit in a chair and look extremely uncomfortable, while watching highlights of the game we just watched the previous day are over! Calipari has not only turned the basketball program around, he's even improved the coaches show. This years show is loaded with game highlights and behind the scenes video of the players over the previous weeks games. We even have a one on one interview that Calipari conducts himself. Guest have been Tony Delk, Scott Padgett and Wayne Turner. Here's a segment from the first show. Make sure to set your DVR's for a series recording.
