Billy Donovan has Cal Envy
One of the hot topics at SEC Media Day yesterday was Florida head coach Billy Donovan’s whining about ESPN’s All-Access Kentucky.
Billy Donovan on all-access TV shows on teams: “if ur using it as a recruiting tool, I don’t think that is right…”

More Donovan: “if ur just trying to recruit through that, practice should be about practice … Would not want players focusing on cameras.”

Coach Cal went on to say later that UK had ESPN check with the NCAA to make sure everything they were going to do was kosher with compliance and he also said he has nothing to do with the production of the show.
I think it is unfair that Donovan was on television as a child and can use that as an in with the recruits parents but you don’t hear me whining.
