Aaron Harrison Traded to the Delaware 87ers

Former UK guard Aaron Harrison has been traded to the Delaware 87ers in the NBA Development League.

The Greensboro Swarm sent Harrison the 87ers in exchange for Cat Barber and the returning player rights to Sam Thompson.

WILMINGTON, DE – FEBRUARY 3, 2017 – The Delaware 87ers today announced that the team has acquired guard Aaron Harrison from the Greensboro Swarm in exchange for Cat Barber and the returning player rights to Sam Thompson. The trade is pending physicals.

Harrison (6-6, 209) averaged 18 points, five rebounds, three assists and one steal per game with Greensboro this season. He has appeared in 26 NBA games across two seasons, having spent parts of 2015-16 and 2016-17 with the Charlotte Hornets. While playing college ball at Kentucky, he was a two-time SEC All-Tournament Team selection (2014, 2015) and an All-SEC (Coaches) Second Team honoree (2015). He averaged 11 points, three rebounds, one assist and one steal per game in his senior season.
