God’s Gift Getting Calls from Kentucky

The next guy on Kentucky’s list is God’s Gift Achiuwa, a 6’9″ power forward, from Erie Community College in Erie, New York.

Achiuwa currently has offers from Cincinnati and Niagra according to Rivals.com.

He visited Cincinnati this past weekend.

I spoke to God’s Gift’s coach Alex Nwora this evening and I asked him about the rumor that he had committed to Cincinnati. Nwora said he had not spoken to Achiuwa since he had returned from his visit so he didn’t know if he had or not.

I also asked him when was the last time Kentucky had contacted him.

He said they have called as recently as last week.

He also said that Achiuwa was visiting Washington next week.

My guess is if Kentucky called last week, I would definitely expect a phone call this week.
