Anthony Davis Named Naismith Player of the Year
Anthony Davis is becoming one of the most decorated players in college basketball history when it comes to racking up awards. That trend continued on Sunday.
On the eve before the National Championship Game, Davis was named the Naismith College Basketball Player of the Year.
This is Davis’ sixth award of the postseason, as he swept all major player of the year awards; he won the awards over Thomas Robinson, Draymond Green, and plenty of other talented players throughout the country.
Davis is the second freshmen to win the Naismith award, following Texas’ Kevin Durant in 2007.
Is Davis the best freshmen ever? You tell us…
