Photo Gallery: A.J. Reed’s Single A debut with Quad Cities

A.J. Reed’s first Midwest League hit was a two-run homer. It came on just his second at bat to help lead the Bandits to a 4-3 win over Bowling Green on Monday. Members of the BBN turned out to support A.J. and it seemed like Reed signed for nearly all of them. A group of kids started an A.J. chant during one at bat while another fan offered to get A.J.’s autograph tattooed on his arm. Nothing like the BBN!

About Regina Rickert

I am a writer and photographer covering UK for Nation of Blue. I started out as a media contact for the Berea College News Service, sending out press releases to hometown newspapers. This led to covering Berea men's basketball and writing game summaries for a local Richmond newspaper. I eventually combined my love of photography with my passion for sports. I began shooting UK athletics in 2010.
