The KHSAA 2014 Sweet 16 Bracket.

About Scott Anderson

I love covering the Kentucky Wildcats and even though I can't cheer on the outside when I go to games now, I am definitely cheering on the inside. You can follow me at @SAndersonNOB on twitter.

I wouldn’t sweat it too much if i was John Calipari. I heard the palaver after U of K was given the 8 seed and even Dickie Vee was incensed. Still, Dee Vee prognosticated two victories for the Cats; the first over those pseudo-Wildcats from Kay State, then over the top-seeded Shockers. In fact, more people felt as tho the committee was trying to give the Shockers a rough time more than anything else
    .
At any rate, the men can look at U of Ky’s Hoops team if they wanna see a really tough bracket. Yep, the Hoopsters are in Notre Dame’s region, and while i think it’s a good possibility they will make the elite 8 once again, unless the Hoopsters can come up with the game of a lifetime, the game against Notre Dame should end the season for them; that is, if they can get by Baylor again. And you know Baylor’s not gonna make it easy for our Cats, what with U of K’s 4-overtime victory in their backyard earlier in the season. Still, I think Coach Mitchell can get his team up enough so that Baylor will fall again.
And back to the men, no matter what their record is, or how they were seeded, this is still as good a team as any in the whole of the BB-bouncing nation. There’s parity a’plenty in the NCAA, and it could be any school’s championship this year.
