Kentucky’s Aaron Harrison has been named the SEC Freshman of the Week.
Kentucky’s Aaron Harrison, a 6-foot-6, 218-pound freshman guard from Richmond, Texas, was named SEC Freshman of the Week after averaging 18.5 points, five rebounds and three assists in wins over Eastern Michigan and Providence. Harrison notched 22 points and a career-high seven rebounds in the win over Eastern Michigan. Logged 15 points and a career-high four assists against Providence at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. Made 9-of-11 free throws against EMU and 7-of-9 field goals against PC.
This is an award that will likely stay in Lexington for the entire season.
