Auburn snapped a six-game slide with a 49-37 home-win over Alabama on Tuesday. Auburn’s streak began with a 75-53 loss to Kentucky in mid-January.

It marks the first time since the 1990-91 season that Auburn and Kentucky have played home and home during the regular season.

Auburn Senior Frankie Sullivan leads the team with 16.1 points per game. Rob Chubb scores 9.5 points per game and adds a team-high 7.5 rebounds per outing. Josh Wallace leads the team with 70 assists and reached double-figure scoring in the win over the Tide on Tuesday.

Kentucky owns an 87-17 record in theall-time series with Auburn. The Wildcats have won 14-straight in the series and have not lost to the Tigers since 2000. Furthermore, UK has won 28 of the last 29 meetings including a 75-53 decision earlier this season in Auburn. The Blue and White holds a 44-2 all-time edge against the Tigers when the game is played in Lexington.

Auburn head coach Tony Barbee is 0-3 coaching against Kentucky. Barbee is 0-6 coaching against Kentucky’s John Calipari, 0-3 at Auburn and 0-3 at UTEP when Calipari was at Memphis.
