Video: Did Nerlens Noel Beat the Shot Clock or Not?

The biggest play of the game last night was whether Nerlens Noel’s shot clock buzzer beater counted or not.

CN2 has video where you can hear the buzzer(which is what is the deciding factor if it counted or not), and it looks like to me Kentucky actually got a break last night.

You decide.

He beat it the clock was all most there if you look is was out of his hand by buzz

Picture on UKAthletics official site is better evidence. The game clock has tenths of a second (unlike shot clock for some reason), and you can clearly see that the ball is out of Noel’s hand with 18.0 on the game clock.

Sorry about that last sentence, it was uncalled for. I apologize.

I agree with Todd. Though the buzzer sounded at the exact moment the
possession clock went from 1 to 0, there should have been 10 one-tenth
seconds between seeing 0 and hearing the buzzer. Looking at the game
clock and the possession clock, it was about 3 tenths of a second
between the 0 and the ball leaving his hands. Vandy got clock blocked.

I’m sorry but if it was the other way around, we would be livid right now.
