Many recently have thought that the #1 player in the class of 2013, Andrew Wiggins, has his parents’ alma mater as his leader.
Florida State, the same school Wiggins Huntington Prep teammate Xavier Rathan-Mayes has signed with, would definitely keep him out of the spotlight, which was mentioned by his host parent that was something they didn’t think he enjoyed.
Well, Jerry Meyer of 24/7 Sports still thinks Kentucky is the leader.

6-8, 200-pounds, Huntington (W.V.) Prep
Schools involved: Florida State, Kansas, Kentucky, North Carolina
Wiggins, the consensus number one ranked prospect, officially visited Florida State in December, and there has been plenty of talk that FSU is the leader in his recruitment. The opinion here, however, is that Kentucky has been and still is the clubhouse leader. Wiggins has unofficially visited Kentucky more than once and will likely officially visit Kentucky after the season. North Carolina has made a late push for Wiggins and he is expected to officially visit. Kansas might also get a visit.
We won’t know until the Spring signing period, but that time is fastly approaching, and will be exciting to see who wins out in the end.
