Marshall County Hoopfest Day 1

The Marshall County Hoopfest started today and Kentucky recruits were on display in all three evening games.

In the 8pm game, Andrew Wiggins dominated Memphis East by scoring 29 points, grabbing 17 rebounds and 5 assists to beat Memphis East 76-59. The interesting twist to the evening for Wiggins is he walked off the floor wearing a Kentucky shirt.

The next game saw Oak Hill Academy drill Curie High School and Kentucky 2014 recruit Cliff Alexander 72-39. Alexander finished with 26 points and 13 rebounds and said he spoke to Orlando Antigua earlier in the day.

The nightcap saw Travis High School hold off Louisville Ballard 78-76. Aaron Harrison finished with 23 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 4 steals. Andrew Harrison finished with 22 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists. Louisville signee Quentin Snider had 28 for Ballard.
