The Kentucky Wildcats(1-9) host the Samford Bulldogs(7-3) for Senior Night at Commonwealth Stadium at 7:30pm on on CSS.

Nineteen seniors will be honored prior to Saturday’s game vs. Samford. The Wildcats are looking for their third consecutive win in their home finale.
Samford and Kentucky are meeting for the first time ever on a football field.
Junior linebacker Avery Williamson leads Kentucky and the SEC in total tackles with 115 and tackles per game with 11.5. Williamson ranks third nationally in tackles per game and has double-figure tackles in seven of 10 games this season, including three in a row.
Today’s game will also mark the fourth time in the last year that a Samford team has faced Kentucky. In the last year, the SU men’s basketball, women’s basketball and soccer teams have played the Wildcats.
The Samford Bulldogs enter Commonwealth Stadium on Saturday with a 7-3 record in FCS action, winning each of their last two games. Samford is 5-3 in the Southern Conference this season. The Bulldogs are coached by Pat Sullivan, who is in his sixth season at the helm of the program.
Samford has one player on its 2012 roster from the Commonwealth of Kentucky in freshman offensive lineman Andy Clements from Bowling Green, Ky. Clements went to Greenwood High School with UK true freshman quarterback Jeff Witthuhn.
Samford has an all-time record of 2-72-3 against the current members of the Southeastern Conference, though Saturday’s game marks the Bulldogs’ first-ever meeting with Kentucky.
UK is sixth in the nation for most true freshmen played with 14, only two behind the national leader. Of Kentucky’s 80 recruited scholarship players, 55 are freshmen or sophomores.
