Hiring Bobby Petrino Could Put Kentucky in Great Shape with James Quick

The top recruit in the state of Kentucky has put his full support of Kentucky hiring former Arkansas coach Bobby Petrino.

Trinity’s James Quick, the most coveted wide receiver in the state, spoke to Steve Jones of the Courier Journal and says if Kentucky was to pull the trigger on Petrino, they might have a chance to land him.

Asked specifically about his thoughts on Petrino as a possible replacement, Quick said: “I think he would fit the job because he’s a great guy and a great coach. As far as him going to Kentucky, that would be a good fit for me if he was there.”

Could a senior in high school have any influence on the next coach at Kentucky?

If you get about 22 more talented players like him, I say yes.

Hiring Petrino would be a joke. Look at his past history of loyalty to any school or pro team. His loyalty is to Petrino and he could care less about what happens to the UK football program. I would hire a division 2,3 or even a high school coach rather than even consider Petrino.

Petrino comes with baggage but so did John Calipari. I vote yes to Petrino

@Tim…who would be better?…UK Football is in dire straights…Petrino is a program builder…wins in the SEC (most important) all the other candidates are either unproven or too old…

Bobby is the man with the plan. Wake up idiots. We get Bobby P, we fill the house and win. Players will actually consider UK as a viable option to play big time football for a big time coach. If you don’t like him I will gladly buy your tickets.
