Devonta Pollard Cuts List to 5

Five star recruit Devonta Pollard has cut his list to five and it doesn’t appear Kentucky is on the list.

Scout.com is reporting that Pollard has listed Alabama, Mississippi State, Texas, Georgetown, and Missouri.

The NextCats twitter account tweeted a couple of quotes Pollard had about Kentucky from the Scout.com article.

“UK produces pros but if you go & you aren’t ready to be drafted in 1 or 2 years then you will have to stay there 2 or 3 more years.” “And if you don’t like the school and have to stay more than a year, then it’s not going to work out.”

Looks like there is a good shot we could see a lot of Pollard in the future, with 3 teams from the SEC on his final 5.

Kentucky will be focusing on Shabazz Muhammad and Anthony Bennett in my opinion to fill out the 2012 class. They will also have an outside chance at Jarnell Stokes and Amile Jefferson.
