1996 Wildcats National Champions to Reunite

The University of Kentucky will be honoring their 1996 National Champs by awarding them with new rings. This will take place at halftime on Wednesday February 27 as UK faces Mississippi State.
The 1996 Kentucky Wildcats national championship team will be reunited and honored at halftime to receive new rings for the national title they won back in the 96′ season. The NCAA gave them basic NCAA championship rings but the University of Kentucky did not. It has become a trend for schools to give out custom rings to their championship teams in recent years (or sweet sixteen rings if you are IU) so Kentucky wants to honor he 96′ squad with new rings.
