T-Minus 8 hours and 30 minutes...
Today is gameday. The beginning of Operation: Win. The Governor's Cup will be determined starting at 3:30pm when the Kentucky Wildcats and Louisville Cardinals take the field to battle out who wins the first game of their season.
The two new head coaches would initially appear to have the most on the line but at the end of the day, the biggest loser will be the fan of the losing team that did the most smack talking at work this week. Until we find out the winner of this game, today's Wildcats Play of the Day is 10 minutes of plays from last year's game that UK won. Enjoy your day and GO BIG BLUE!

ESPN college football analyst Lou Holtz, who is known for being all for Big Blue Nation (not!!) makes his selection for the Governor's Cup in this week. Having had both Joker and Charlie Strong work with him in the past, Holtz picks Louisville for the upset victory tomorrow. Now, I don't know about you but I think this actually works in UK's favor.

The game is set to kick-off at 3:30pm and your Nation of Blue resident weatherman says the weather is going to be spectacular for bird hunting. Light winds, 76 degrees and plentiful sunshine. You've heard it first here.

Good Friday morning to the best fans in the world! It's the day before the Governor's Cup and I've had a great time providing some great Wildcats Play of the Day featuring Kentucky vs. Louisville footage. I think I've saved the best for last as we watch Myron Pryor with a fumble recovery that he returned 72 yards for a touchdown. The big man can run!
We hope that you have a great day today and would love to see some pictures of your sporting your UK gear showing your team spirit. Send us your pictures to news@nationofblue.com and we'll put them out for the world to see just how passionate we are about our Wildcats!

Top of the morning to all of the Nation of Blue readers and Kentucky Wildcat fans! Today is a great day, not just because it's Thursday, but because we are yet 1 day closed to the Kentucky vs. Louisville football game on Saturday. Here is wishing you the best of days, the Cats an early hope of good luck and for Louisville fans everywhere a C-A-T-S CATS CATS CATS!

Another day behind us and a day closer to the Governor's Cup game in Louisville on Saturday. Both squads are practicing and preparing (I guess both are, we know Kentucky is) and Joker Phillips shares his thoughts after Wednesday's practice. The shift has occurred with Joker saying "all preparations have shifted to the mental side of the ball" with only 2 more days of preparation time. ...
