The Kentucky Wildcats host the Arkansas Razorbacks tonight in Rupp Arena at 9pm on ESPN.

Kentucky is favored by 18.5 points.

The game's announcers are Brad Nessler and Jimmy Dykes. Sideline reporter is Shannon Spake

Freshman Anthony Davis has tallied nine double-doubles this season. That ranks fourth among all-time UK freshmen. Davis is also on pace to shatter the UK single-season blocks record (83) by nearly 70 blocks.

The Razorbacks were able to defeat Kentucky four times over their first seven meetings between 1992 and 1995, but overall it has been a series dominated by the Wildcats as they ...

    UK Head Coach John Calipari

    On Arkansas’ fast tempo …
“When they speed you up they are getting in to you. They don’t press like normal teams where if you complete a pass they get back, they come running at you and then they try to rotate and run another guy at you. It will be different for our guys. It’s another thing for our point guard and our guards to feel and work their way through. They are a good team, they smashed Mississippi State. LSU was never able to get into any of the stuff and they had a chance to beat Mississippi on the road. They may be 2-1 but they could easily be 3-0 in the league.”

The Kentucky Wildcats(17-1) host the Arkansas Razorbacks(13-4) tomorrow night in Rupp Arena at 9pm.

Arkansas is 2-1 in the SEC, with their lone loss coming at the hands of Ole Miss 71-63.

The Razorbacks are 0-3 on the road this season, with losses to the Rebels, UCONN, and Oklahoma.

The Kentucky Wildcats come back to Rupp Arena after a 2 game conference road trip and look to keep the NCAA's longest home winning streak alive.

Lets look at a couple of matchups that could be key to the outcome.
    • Arkansas' second leading scoring on the season is freshman point guard B.J. Young. Young is averaging 15 points a game, which is 19.51% of his team's scoring. Marquis Teague did an impressive job of shutting down Tennessee's Trae Golden, which was the Vols' leading scorer, to just 2 points Saturday. Teague will have to emulate his defensive performance again Tuesday night as Young is a definite future SEC star.
    • The Razorback starting frontcourt does not have a player taller than 6'8," and their rebounding totals are a total contrast of Kentucky. Junior Marshawn Powell leads Mike Anderson's squad with 6 rebounds per game,

    I have a problem.

I don't know what to think about Kentucky's inability to dominate an opponent.

Sure, the Cats are winning games, and winning them often. Some wins are a struggle, some wins are ugly, and some wins they get outplayed, although their talent carries them in the end. So far this season, I've not really gotten frustrated when the team plays a sub-par game, but yesterday I couldn't help myself.

I was on the verge of rooting for Kentucky to lose.

Not because I'm giving up on the team, mind you. ...

We, at Nation of Blue, asked the question: On the road, who will show up? The Freshmen or the veterans? The answer on Saturday January 14th in Knoxville, Tennessee was the freshmen.

Tennessee started the game in a not so Volunteer fashion with back to back 3's. UK, much like a the heavyweight favorite in a boxing match was stunned by flurry of haymakers in the 1st half. Jaronne Maymon led the charge for Tennessee with 15 points and ...

The Cats took their talents to Knoxville today, taking on the Tennessee Volunteers in the second road game of SEC conference play.

Darius Miller got the start again over Doron Lamb.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist got things started nicely with a 20 foot jumper and Kentucky nearly got a turnover off the press before Tennessee came up with the loose ball and dropped a 3 point jumper of their own.

After a Terrence Jones turnover, Tennessee came back down and hit another 3. Cue Doron Lamb, 2 ...
